In 2019 I found and fell in love with Storytelling. The first story I ever told made it to the radio. In 2023 I won a Moth Grand Slam title. My storytelling is grounded in truth and love. My hope is to allow people a moment in my shoes to show how different, yet the same we are.
Also in 2023 I picked up an art pad to ease my anxiety. I gravitated to watercolors. Completely self taught I found myself drawn to images that made me feel something. And lately I have been inspired to paint the innocence of Black girls and birds.
Both are ways that I express myself and I want to share both my storytelling and my art with the world.
